Where it’s needed the belts are equipped trippers that allow discharging of material along the whole length of the conveyor or at pre-designated locations. Additionally, a diverter system is often added to the belt tripper’s discharge chute. Using this method increases the belt tripper’s versatility because it allows for material to be released on either side of the conveyor, or directly back onto the belt.
