Calabrese broccoli seeds from Mall Agro are a highly productive early-production variety that can be grown from the beginning of January to the end of March. This old and disease-resistant variety is high-yielding and forms dark green heads. It develops one main head with a size of 15 cm and a set around it with dimensions of about 8 cm. Broccoli is cold-resistant and prefers cooler and wetter areas with a neutral pH. It is suitable for planting after tomatoes, potatoes, and beans.
For early production, the seeds are sown from January 25th – 30th. For late production, the sowing period is from June 20 – July 5. The seeds are grown with seedlings prepared from seed, and regular watering and temperatures of 18 – 20 degrees Celsius are required, along with high air humidity and neutral soil response. It is good to fertilize the soil with fertilizers, especially before planting seedlings. Usually, broccoli yield is about 1.6 – 2 tons per hectare. Each pack of Calabrese broccoli seeds contains 3 grams.
